tankini swim wear: mika, of course your sd12 needs to cover her top. i think you'd be arrested otherwise. :-o however, you can arrange some sort of compromise. who knows, maybe your sd will start a new rage. how about wearing a tankini top and boy bottoms? a lot of teenaged girls think it's cool to wear boy boxers and trunks. in the swim world, loose-fitting and comfortable clothes are the norm, not what looks trendy. sd16 has a bunch of clothes that are pretty asexual (sweatpants, tees).
tankini swim wear: i've been looking too, hillary. right now i'm able to wear a regular tankini (with built-in underwire bra) in a larger size than normal, but i'm not yet a dd. (i will be if my last pg is any indication.) it'll fit me for probably another week. i'm thinking of trying to fashion my own swimsuit, using a regular bra covered with swimsuit material (it'll hang down like a skirt or tankini, i suppose). then just use a bikini bottom. not sure if it'll work, since i haven't sewed in years, but i'll have to try. it gets to be 100 degrees here in august when i'll be 7 months pg, so i'll have to go swimming. -- mary (mom to aaron 6/13/00 and little goblin due halloween)
tankini swim wear: 1. the beach. i never thought i'd nurse on the beach - because i wear one-piece swim suits that are just not accessible for nursing. but i forgot my swimsuit, and bought a cheap tankini, and i just pulled it up on one side, and let my t-shirt drape around my daughter, allowing enough discretion for my comfort.
