one piece swim wear: if i had the body to wear a two-piece i definitely would. but unfortunately some places aren't so firm anymore and i don't want to share that with everyone else:0) so since i only have a couple suits and they are 2 pieces from just before i had dd, if we go somewhere to swim, i wear a cover up. haven't even shopped for a suit in a couple years but next one will be one piece - unless i get off my duff and tighten up!!
one piece swim wear: which public areas? in the vicinity of a beach or swimming pool, personally i think they ought to be allowed to do their thing, but the style police ought to force them to go naked instead of wearing a thong. but i think it's 100x more sensible to swim naked than wear some pointless uncomfortable 4" piece of spandex. as for one piece suits, no problem at all. as for wearing any swimwear outside the vicinity of a swimming site? outlaw it. (again, for me, give me no clothes rather than having to look at that).
one piece swim wear: 1. the beach. i never thought i'd nurse on the beach - because i wear one-piece swim suits that are just not accessible for nursing. but i forgot my swimsuit, and bought a cheap tankini, and i just pulled it up on one side, and let my t-shirt drape around my daughter, allowing enough discretion for my comfort.
one piece swim wear: that's one of the things i like about some of the lower cost stores--they seem to be aware that there are some of us who will wear black jeans whether they are cool or not. not to mention that wal mart stocks two piece swim suits (note: not bikinis) in a range of sizes and sells each piece separately, so getting a good fit is easy.
one piece swim wear: my wife and i pick one day of our trip to ride all the water rides -- kali, splash mtn, etc., and we wear t-shirts and board shorts/swim trunks, she wears a one-piece under it, we wear sandals (tevas), and we're ready to go. then we hop from park to park, doing all the water rides as many times as we like. we also fit in any other rides we like, as long as we're not actively dripping water at the time.
