maternity swim wear: -maternity swim suit and y membership (nothing feels better than swimming right now; and i love being able to keep up with other non-pregnant folks at something!) -comfy, well fitting maternity clothes -mules or slides (not really all that practical during a snowy wisconsin winter, but i hate having to bend down to tie shoes!) -the big c-shaped pregnancy/nursing pillow my cousin made for me wear -the childbirth class we are taking at the local birth center -...and this newsgroup wear
maternity swim wear: to be honest i really don't like being so big. if people said "god you look marvellous - really pregnant!" then that would be fine, but the constant "how much longer?!" (four months actually) and references to eating for two / being huge make me want to cry. i hate having no control over my body shape (especially now my back problems have meant i can't go to the gym or swim, or even walk very far anymore, so i'm putting on even more weight than i should). i can't afford a lovely new maternity wardrobe and i feel wear miserable being this big, and people's comments can be really insensitive. people seem to expect pregnant women to be rachel from friends or the glamour model jordan (who put on a well publicised seven pounds during her pregnancy) and my constant refrain that this is quite normal actually falls on deaf ears. maternity swim wear: the maternity pants i wore last time just bug me now -- styles have changed and i'm a little heavier, so what used to be relatively close-fitting knit pants are now pretty much leggings, and i can't stand them. i've bought a few new things but also just stuck with regular pants for longer because that's what i had that looked decent. and of course, since i'm wearing non-maternity pants, and also again because styles have changed a bit, and because i'm in midpregnancy at a different season this time than last, i'm getting away with wearing non-maternity shirts more as well. swim wear maternity swim wear: anyway my mom bought me some when i first started to swim wear show...omg.....granny!!!! big time.....i'm going to save them until i'm really big...( 8th and 9th month ) they are ( duo maternity ) they are very comfy but i'm used to thong bikini's ....lol.... i did buy some thong maternity underwear...but theyre not comfy at all..!..theyre actually kinda scratchy! and i dont see anything that swim wear looks like they are maternity...they are ashley taylor fro k-mart.... maternity swim wear: wendy, you really need to go to an actual store and physically try some stuff on - the clerks in the store or the maternity department can also help you with fit and sizes. you will get bigger than you swim wear think (not just your belly, but your thighs and butt tend to expand as well), so don't be shocked if the size they recommend in tops or dresses look like tents - you will fill them up eventually. | |
